Institutional Membership
The CODEX Foundation Institutional and Sustaining Membership Program
Institutional memberships go a long way towards supporting our endeavors here at the CODEX Foundation. Our International Biennial CODEX Book Art Fair & Symposium is coming up soon, February 4-7 th , 2024 and the Institutional Membership can help your institution be represented and provide entry to the symposium. Your support can also help our programming year-round if you choose to support our nonprofit organization at contributing, sustaining, and benefactor levels. We also have a special opportunity for institutions on a budget to acquire some of our publications for free—so keep reading!
Our goal is to support artists, craftspeople, librarians, curators, scholars, and students in the field of book arts. Will you support our endeavors and programming with an institutional membership? Regular tickets to the symposium are available without a membership and include entry to both the fair & symposium for $300, however we hope you will consider supporting our activities as an institution:
Can’t afford to attend or subscribe this year? We will bring the book arts to you! For institutions on a budget, we would like to offer a set of free publications including: Book Art Object 2, a set of our CODEX Papers journals #1-3, and a selection of up to 6 of our CODE(X) Monographs (of our choosing). We would appreciate it if your institution could pay shipping costs, but if that is an obstacle, we will send you the publications free of charge. Please feel free to share this information and let your colleagues at other institutions know if you think of someone that might not be on our list and that may be interested.
Let us know how we can help you as an Institutional Member. We are looking for institutions interested in collaborating with us and we are open to collaborations of all kinds. We seek librarians, curators, faculty, and staff interested in advancing scholarship, exhibitions, and publishing and we are open to bringing exhibitions, seminars, or symposia ideas to you. We can also give presentations to librarian staff, faculty members, and students via Zoom on a wide array of book art related subjects.
