The Book Fair will be taking place in the Pauley Ballroom which is located in the ASUC Pauley Ballroom on the UC Berkeley campus. The ballroom is near the intersection of Telegraph Ave. and Bancroft way.

The Symposium will be held at the UC Berkeley Art Museum at 2621 Durant Avenue. Enter through the sculpture garden from either Durant Ave. or Bancroft Ave.

BART - Regional rail / subway with stations in San Francisco, and easy access to SFO and OAK airports. The station nearest to the Codex Fair and Symposium is the Downtown Berkeley Station.

SFO and OAK are the two major airports nearest to Berkeley.

Hotels reserve early - special CODEX pricing will not last!

The Downtown Berkeley Inn - (510) 843-4043 - The Codex Foundation has reserved a block of 27 rooms at the Downtown Berkeley inn.

The Hotel Durant - (510) 845-8981 - The Codex Foundation has reserved a block of 50 rooms at The Hotel Durant. When reserving, please mention the Codex Foundation for the special rate. Please contact the hotel for any additional information. The Hotel Durant is one block from the University campus.

Berkeley City Club - (510) 848-7800 - The Berkeley City Club is near the University campus and has rooms available. The Codex Foundation has reserved 15 rooms.

Suggestions to Exhibitors about Parking and Unloading

Park in the Student Union Parking Garage, located on the North Side of Bancroft Way (that's on the right hand side of Bancroft Way which is one-way West.) The entrance to the Garage is just a half block past the intersection of Telegraph Avenue and Bancroft Way.

Once in the Garage drive straight ahead and park as near as possible to the far corner (that is, the South East corner in the Garage, toward Bancroft Way) .

This will put you near an entrance marked in a somewhat desultory fashion “Student Union Entrance.” Proceed to this entrance and go through a set of double doors which will put you in front of two elevators . Take the elevator to level 4, this is the Pauley Ballroom level (Level 2 is the street level.). It will be very easy to then move your books, etc. to your location in the Ballroom.
